I love to learn! Beyond getting degrees from 3 different universities, I'm always learning some new technique or technology. Back in college, I had two main interests: fine art (drawing, painting, and especially scuplture) and computer programming. I seemed about as good in both but I decided to go with computer programming for a career, with the idea that I wanted to keep my art 'pure'. After I graduated and got a job, I found out that I was a great programmer but was too tired after work to do any art. Luckily, I found myself getting into Web Design and then Photoshop and Flash. Thus I was able to merge programming and design into a very rewarding career.
I live in Boise with my wonderful gals: my wife Angie, our newborn baby girl, and our fluffy cat (currently sitting on my lap). Angie and I were friends years and years before we finally started dating and then tying the knot in a little Baptist chapel in 100+ degree weather. We both have great friends and family here in the area and we're excited to raise our little girl here.
Boise is a great place to live. First off, we have the Broncos! Go Broncos! The foothills are loaded with amazing bike trails but unfortunately I usually only have time to bike to and from work. You can usually find me running with the Boise Hash House Harriers on Mondays though! If you like running and drinking, definitely check out this great group. Downtown Boise is always a place with plenty going on - which is why I love having a downtown office-all that great food nearby!
